Non-Immaculate Conception

The Saviour
Australia
Malcolm is an effective door-to-door evangelist who’s in love with a married woman. With pressure mounting from his church to convert her, Malcolm decides the Bible is the very weapon he needs to destroy the marriage that’s keeping him from his true love. Written and directed by Peter Templeman. Pete gave up his career as a Physiotherapist when he started working as an actor in 1998. Since then he has written and directed theatre and short films. The film won the Grand Prize at Slamdance in 2006 and has been nominated for a 2007 Academy Award for best short film. Principal cast: Thomas Campbell, Susan Prior (who can also be seen in the Imagemakers short Monster), David Sommerville and Rhys Muldoon.

Heavy Pregnant
Germany
Are you a momma’s boy? Women know men are just children that refuse to grow up, but no one has seen a case like this. Mrs. Stroebele is a little overdue in delivering her child – 27 years – as a matter of fact. We’ve heard of separation anxiety, but this is ridiculous. It’s time for drastic action. Written and directed by Piotr J. Lewandoski. Principal cast: Roland Silbernagl, Carsten Strauch, Cornelia Niemann and Rainer Ewerrien.
