San Francisco-based artist Anna Maltz uses humor and sculptural textiles to explore identity and societal taboos. For her series One Size Fits All, she takes conventional portraits of families (of various configurations) wearing her “naked” suits — full body, pink-colored mohair outfits with anatomically correct appendages. Born in London, England, Anna Maltz earned a B.F.A. from the Middlesex University in London and an M.F.A. from California College of Arts in 2004. Her work has been exhibited internationally.
