In this study from the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, researchers in the UK looked at 1,140 babies. They found that babies who ate a diet rich in "healthy, often homemade foods -- including fruits, vegetables, poultry and fish" were less likely to develop food allergies later. The healthy babies were compared against babies with allergies whose diet was higher in processed foods such as potato chips and bacon.
