The series profiles Bay Area artists and performers and has been narrated by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqed.org\/radio\/about\/staff\/victoria-mauleon.jsp\"><strong>Victoria Mauleon<\/strong><\/a>, Charles Shaw Robinson, <a href=\"http:\/\/ww2.kqed.org\/spark\/pamela-z\/\"><strong>Pamela Z<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ww2.kqed.org\/spark\/berkeley-repertory-theatre-presents-the-peoples-temple\/\"><strong>David Dower<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/ww2.kqed.org\/spark\/keith-knight\/\"><strong>Keith Knight<\/strong><\/a>. Many of the segments are produced by well-known, local independent filmmakers. The <strong>Spark<\/strong> crew began shooting in HD in 2007.\n<\/p>\n<h2>Spark Education<\/h2>\n<p>\n<strong>Spark<\/strong>Ed is the education and outreach program of <strong>Spark<\/strong>, offering media resources, educational materials and professional development training, including comprehensive <a href=\"http:\/\/ww2.kqed.org\/spark\/spark-educator-guides\/\"><strong>Educator Guides<\/strong><\/a> and arts education tools to help K-12 and post-secondary educators use <strong>Spark<\/strong> in the classroom.\n<\/p>\n<h2>Spark Web<\/h2>\n<p>\nThis 2003 EMMY award-winning Web site takes visitors even deeper into the arts community by supplementing the television series, supporting the educational outreach program and providing unique content.
