Hundreds of thousands of Snow Geese flock to restored wetlands within the Colusa National Wildlife Refuge. This is a key stopover site for the Pacific Flyway. Historically the central valley of California had millions of acres of seasonally flooded wetlands; more than 90% have been destroyed in the last century.
