ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Coming to Santa Clara on Saturday, June 7

Ticketed guests will get to visit the ROADSHOW set, have items appraised and be considered for broadcast.

PBS’s highest-rated ongoing primetime series ANTIQUES ROADSHOW visits Santa Clara, CA, on Saturday, June 7, 2014 as part of an eight-city summer production tour. ANTIQUES ROADSHOW and KQED will host the all-day appraisal event at the Santa Clara Convention Center for approximately 6,000 ticketed guests, who will receive free valuations of their antiques and collectibles from the country’s leading auction houses and independent dealers. From ROADSHOW’s visit to Santa Clara, three episodes of television will be created for inclusion in the popular program’s 19th season airing in 2015. ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, a production of WGBH Boston, airs locally on Mondays at 8pm on KQED 9.

Tickets applications are now closed. Submit your name for a chance to win a pair of tickets to ANTIQUES ROADSHOW in Santa Clara, CA. Each guest is invited to bring two items for appraisal.

ANTIQUES ROADSHOW is also accepting furniture submissions for the 2014 Tour to be used in appraisals and display on the set. Selected pieces will be transported to the event and back at no cost to the owner. For more details: www.pbs.org/wgbh/roadshow/furniture.

"We are thrilled to come back to the Bay Area after the wonderful time we had in San Jose five years ago," said ROADSHOW executive producer Marsha Bemko. "Guests will bring about 10,000 to 12,000 items to our appraisal event, so we're sure to uncover some great treasures." As part of the visit, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW will also film segments in and around South Bay, highlighting local history and places of interest.

The ANTIQUES ROADSHOW 2014 Tour will also include Bismarck, ND (May 31, 2014), Birmingham, AL (June 21, 2014), Austin, TX (June 28, 2014), Albuquerque, NM (July 19, 2014), Chicago, IL (July 26, 2014), New York, NY (August 9, 2014), Charleston, WV (August 16, 2014).

Admission to ANTIQUES ROADSHOW events is free, but tickets are required and must be obtained in advance. Ticket applications and complete ticketing rules are available on pbs.org/antiques or by dialing toll-free 1-888-762-3749. Ticket applications must be received by Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Tickets will be awarded by random drawing.
