Season 1 Episode Descriptions
#101 – Tahiti, French Polynesia
Sun-kissed beaches, lush green rainforests, and Tahitian drumming call Brittany's name. Unlike the slower paced Hawaiian hula, Tahitian dance is known for its fast hip shaking. Brittany gets an inside view into typical Tahitian life as she moves her hips with the locals at a community fundraiser. Away from the drums, Brittany cools off as she takes to the crystal blue waters for an exciting day of swimming with stingrays and sharks.
#102 – Spain
Brittany heads to Southern Spain, the Andalucia region. See this city girl transform into a Spanish Gypsy as she has a foot-stomping good time learning Flamenco. Off the dance floor, Brittany explores all that the city of Seville has to offer - tapas bars, plazas and even a Flamenco dress shop fit for runway models.
#103 – Switzerland
This episode has Brittany exploring traditional Swiss culture tucked away high in the Alps. She begins her journey in Nendaz where she takes part in the annual Alphorn Festival - a festival devoted to local folklore with the largest gathering of alphorns in the world. It may not be music to the ears, but Brittany certainly gives the alphorn a try along with traditional folk dancing. And no stay in Switzerland would be complete without a visit to a cheese farm.
#104 – Alberta, Canada
Brittany hits the trail to Southern Alberta, Canada to celebrate the rich heritage of the Blackfoot First Nations people through their history, dances, chants and songs. It's a colorful and lively celebration as Brittany dances in full costume set against the natural beauty of Alberta's Waterton Lakes National Park at the annual Blackfoot Arts and Cultural Festival.
