In addition, the Board of Governors will award Linda Giannecchini, a long-time engineering special projects manager and assistant director at KQED, with the prestigious Governors’ Award for her many years of dedicated service to the television industry and to NATAS.
The 40th annual Northern California Area EMMY® Award ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 11 at the Regency Center in San Francisco.
The Emmy® award is presented for outstanding achievement in television by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. San Francisco/Northern California is one of the twenty chapters awarding regional Emmy® statuettes. Northern California is composed of television and cable stations from Visalia to the Oregon border and includes Hawaii and Reno, Nevada. Entries were aired during the 2010 calendar year.
