As gatherings of sparkly, flamboyant humans go, there are few places that will ever be as extra as a Kesha live show. Except, of course, when that Kesha live show is on Halloween and in San Francisco. Last night's extravaganza at the Masonic was an all-inclusive explosion of unabashed self-expression, multi-colored exuberance, and an absolute commitment to love (for both self and thy neighbor.) Kesha herself set a fine example, hitting the stage looking like this:

On stage, she brought the party with all of her biggest hits, best highlights from Rainbow, and no less than three costume changes. Even Kesha's mom made an appearance, dressed in a cow costume.
"Thank you for saving my daughter's life," she told the audience.
"This is why you should never give your mom the microphone," Kesha quipped back.

Throughout her set, Kesha mentioned that she had the greatest fans in the world. Based on the ones I met, I would say she's probably right.
