How many of you have ever felt personally victimized by a revival of a beloved movie? *we all raise our hands* So it makes sense that there is some trepidation around Mean Girls being resuscitated as a musical. If it ain't broke, don't make some actress sing a clunky ditty about how "fetch" is never going to happen, if you ask me.

But maybe there's a (slight) chance this might actually be good. Tina Fey, the brain behind the original, is involved, after all. Also on board are Fey's husband, Jeff Richmond, who composed 30 Rock's music, and Nell Benjamin, who wrote lyrics for the musical version of Legally Blonde. We won't know for sure if it's grool or if it'll make us demand our pink shirt back until it premieres in March 2018, but this preview of Broadway's versions of Regina George, Gretchen Weiners, and Karen Smith (played by Taylor Louderman, Ashley Park, and Kate Rockwell) gives us a little peek into what Fey and co. are cooking up:
