Meet LiLou. The almost two-year-old spotted Juliana pig is the first airport therapy pig in the country, and the newest member of Wag Brigade, a program at SFO that aims to ease anxious or stressed-out travelers with the company of trained, cuddly animals. LiLou, who loves showing off her various costumes and tricks (she can twirl, play a toy piano, and stand on her hind legs), is the first non-canine to join the effort.
Therapy Pig Arrives at SFO Airport Just When We Need Her Most
While her first day on the job earlier this week isn't a direct response to last week's devastating warehouse fire in Oakland, LiLou's presence has most likely helped family members flying in from around the country who have been grieving.
"It brings positive emotions to me seeing that we can do something good for the community and bring more smiles in some unconventional way," LiLou's owner/mom, Tatyana Danilova, told USA Today.

LiLou's visits to the airport will be sporadic -- around once a month -- so if you don't luck into witnessing her painted hooves in person, you can still take in all the beauty and comfort on her Instagram account.
