If you've been paying attention, you won't be too shocked to hear that we at KQED Pop aren't exactly super stoked on the whole football part of the upcoming Super Bowl. Nor, if we're being honest, on the whole Super Bowl-being-in-our-city part of the Super Bowl -- at least not under these circumstances.

Let this serve as context for the following statement: I could watch this NFL footage compilation on repeat for the next 48 hours and still not get sick of it.

Yes, the folks at Bad Lip Reading -- who've previously brought you tears of laughter-inducing remixes of the Presidential debates and Star Wars -- have at long last tackled football.

There's something so gleefully stupid and yet so incredibly, viscerally giggle-triggering about these videos; they make you feel dumb for laughing so hard. Resist this self-judgment. The things are masterful. One can only imagine the hours of work put in just to ensure that "I had a Chinese friend" or "You are the waffle guy" or a ref succinctly declaring "Wu-Tang forever" would send you into an involuntary burst of guffaws.

Check it out below -- and, you know, maybe keep it on hand if you're like us, and need something to watch between the commercials and the, uh, Coldplay performance this Sunday.
