Our news intern Kyung Jin Lee reports for their outstanding achievements in protecting the environment, four schools in San Francisco were recognized today at City Hall: Cornerstone, Longfellow, McCoppin, and Lincoln High all won the Green School of the Year award, given out by the San Francisco Department of the Environment, for their successful composting and recycling programs, as well as other eco-friendly initiatives.
