Federal Government Misses Deadline to Reunify Migrant Families

San Diego-based District Judge Dana Sabraw called the government and the ACLU to court Tuesday for a status hearing on how reunification efforts for the "tender age" children, those age 5 and under, is going. Tuesday was the day the judge set to reunite these young children with their families.

Children Face Immigration Judges Without Their Parents

Since the Trump administration began separating immigrant families as part of the zero-tolerance policy, children are increasingly having to appear before immigration judges alone, without their parents. The Department of Justice is even separating the cases of families that were never physically separated.
