Ag Secretary Perdue Tours Central Valley Expo

We begin in the Central Valley where U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue visited the World Ag Expo in Tulare. As Governor of Georgia, Perdue signed a draconian anti immigration laws. So it caught our attention when Perdue acknowledged the importance of undocumented immigrants in California's ag sector.

Court Ruling Gives DACA Recipients Window to Renew Status

Another judge, this one in New York, has joined a California judge's January ruling temporarily blocking the Trump administration from ending the DACA program, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. The January ruling opened a window for the more than 200,000 DACA recipients in California to renew their status, even as Congress debates immigration policy.
