Uber has agreed to pay Google's self-driving car company Waymo $245 million in equity to settle their trade secrets case.

Waymo argued that Uber's self-driving car efforts were largely based on files stolen from Google's self-driving car project.

Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said, "“While I cannot erase the past, I can commit, on behalf of every Uber employee, that we will learn from it, and it will inform our actions going forward.”
