Protesters are rallying against the Trump administration's offshore drilling plan that would expand oil and gas development off the coast of California.

The U.S. Department of the Interior scheduled just one public meeting in California, with no public comment period and only written comments accepted.

Thursday's meeting is at the main library in Sacramento, about 100 miles inland from communities (and fish) that would be directly impacted by offshore oil and gas drilling.

Online comments can be submitted on the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management's website.
