California has quickly gone from devastating fires to devastating mudslides as at least 13 people were killed in Santa Barbara County.

Firefighters were still battling blazes on Christmas Day and now fire evacuations have given way to evacuation orders for dangerous debris flows.

The flooding and debris in Santa Barbara County also closed U.S. 101 and the Union Pacific railroad line through Montecito.
