Christmas is coming to Coffey Park, the working class neighborhood in Santa Rosa that was razed by the Northern California fires in October. Even though their homes are leveled, people are finding a way to muster some holiday cheer.

San Francisco Shared Workspace Pilots a Program to Battle Homelessness

Over 90,000 people in California sleep out in the cold every night. With affordable housing in short supply, a socially-minded tech incubator in San Francisco is piloting a private transitional homeless camp. The idea is to help people who are on their way to getting housing, but don’t have it yet.
