This weekend marks the one-year anniversary of the tragic Ghost Ship fire that killed 36 people in a converted Oakland warehouse.

The people who lost their lives in the fire were very active in the Bay Area art community and are profiled here.

In September, two men charged with turning the warehouse space into a dangerous firetrap each pleaded not guilty to 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter.
