A generation of kids fell in love with science in the ‘90s, thanks to Bill Nye “The Science Guy.” Now the former PBS host has a new role, taking on what he calls the anti-science movement. A new documentary, “Bill Nye: Science Guy,” reveals the man behind the bow tie and what drives him to defend science and the planet from the threat of climate change. KQED’s Sheraz Sadiq caught up with Bill Nye and filmmaker Jason Sussberg, who co-directed the film.
