Today was the 28th Annual Pet Parade held by Potrero Hill coffeehouse, Farley's. The decked-out doggies paraded through Potrero Hill with their humans before being judged on their costumes.

This papal puppy was one of more than 80 that participated in the Pet Parade and costume contest.

Angela dressed her dog Jack up as Waldo. "He doesn’t like stuff on head and likes to blend, so it seemed fitting," Angela said.

Wesley got a big reaction from the crowd for his Muni bus costume. He won the "Blind Justice" award.

Janee Chung dressed up her dog Kimmy as the house from the Disney movie "Up."  Chung said all the materials for the costume except the balloons were already in her house.

And the winner is...

Artem and Nadine dressed up with their dog Fox Mulder as a sushi family. "I just love sushi," Nadine said. The family won the grand prize.

But don't feel bad for the other dogs. Of the more than 80 dogs that participated, more than 30 awards were given out including the Health Department Award, Most Sassy and the Hipster Award.
