Immigrant Protection Bills Headed to Governor Brown's Desk
State bills are piling up on Governor Jerry Brown’s desk that would increase protections for undocumented immigrants and their families -- in the workplace, in schools and in jails.

UC Berkeley: Organizers Fail to Meet Deadlines for ‘Free Speech Week’
A conservative student publication known as the Berkeley Patriot invited political commentators Ann Coulter, Milo Yiannopoulos and Former White House strategist Steve Bannon to speak as part of what the group is calling "Free Speech Week." According to the university, the student organization missed required filing and payment deadlines for holding such an event in one of the large indoor venues.
