California Supreme Court Leaves Most Of Proposition 66 In Place
When voters passed Proposition 66 last year, they approved requiring the courts to resolve death penalty appeals within five years. That was challenged in court, and in a 5 to 2 decision Thursday, the California Supreme Court said that five year limit is more a goal than a strict deadline.
