Yesterday, a gunman killed three and wounded two others at San Francisco's main UPS facility before turning the gun on himself. That shooting came just hours after a gunman opened fire on members of Congress who were playing baseball in Virginia.
San Francisco and Alexandria, Virginia are now united in gun violence but sadly, the entire country is united in this ongoing tragedy every day. This list of incidents of gun violence over just the past 72 hours inspired me to do this cartoon. Sadly, if I had included every dot indicating where an incident occurred over the past year, the map of the United States would be unrecognizable.
