A front page article in the October 8, 1974 edition of The Argus newspaper, roughly two weeks after Riley's murder, seeks the community's help identifying a potential witness to the murder of Cassie Riley. Valerie Mutch, Marvin's 16-year-old sister, called Union City Police after seeing this story, believing her brother fit the description.
