Election Countdown
With five days to go, polls show the presidential race tightening. Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have been campaigning in battleground states in a last-ditch effort to expand their electoral reach. PBS NewsHour political correspondent John Yang gives an update.

California Races
This Tuesday will be the culmination of a long and expensive election season, with nearly $500 million raised for and against 17 different statewide ballot measures. KQED's Scott Shafer, University of San Francisco African American Studies program director James Taylor and UC Berkeley political science professor Lisa Garcia Bedolla join Thuy Vu to talk about campaign spending and efforts to mobilize key voting groups.

Mark Fiore on "Drawn to the Bay"
He's the man behind the KQED series "Drawn to the Bay." Pulitzer prize-winning cartoonist Mark Fiore joins Thuy Vu to talk about his creative process and what it's like to draw up satire in this political season. He also gives us a sneak peek at his newest cartoon.

Coming up next week: Steve Young talks about his memoir, "QB: My Life Behind the Spiral."
