Police Sexual Misconduct Charges
Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O'Malley today announced criminal charges against seven officers stemming from claims of sexual misconduct involving a teenager who calls herself Celeste Guap. The charges range from oral copulation with a minor to obstruction of justice. Earlier this week Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf announced that 12 Oakland police officers will be fired or suspended, also for misconduct involving Guap.
