Police Sexual Misconduct Charges

Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O'Malley today announced criminal charges against seven officers stemming from claims of sexual misconduct involving a teenager who calls herself Celeste Guap. The charges range from oral copulation with a minor to obstruction of justice. Earlier this week Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf announced that 12 Oakland police officers will be fired or suspended, also for misconduct involving Guap. KQED's Alex Emslie has been following this story.
