Janitors Rally to Demand End to Abusive Working Conditions
Hundreds of janitors celebrated International Women's Day on Tuesday by holding rallies across the state. It's also the start of a new campaign to demand an end to abusive working conditions and sexual harassment on the job. Last summer, KQED and the California Report helped expose sexual abuse of janitors on the job through our groundbreaking investigative project, "Rape on the Night Shift."
