L.A. Sues Gas Company Over Porter Ranch Leak
Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer filed a lawsuit against Southern California Gas Company on Monday. At issue is a natural gas leak at the company's Aliso Canyon facility. It's been leaking for over a month -- and the lawsuit claims the utility didn't notify residents immediately, and wasn't prepared to stop it. Fumes from the leak have sickened residents of Porter Ranch, who have suffered from nose bleeds, headaches and nausea. About 700 families have had to move out of their homes.
Religious Leaders Gather for Interfaith Vigil in San Bernardino
The federal investigation continues into the two shooters responsible for last week's massacre in San Bernardino. Meanwhile, religious leaders from across the region joined together Monday night for an interfaith service to remember the victims of the mass shooting, and to send a message that there is no room for anti-Muslim sentiment in the community.
