Lawmakers Focus on Easing Working Women's Burdens After Gov. Signs Landmark Law
A day after Gov. Jerry Brown signed landmark legislation aimed at closing the gender pay gap in California, state legislators are continuing to examine the challenges working women face. At a state Senate hearing Wednesday in San Francisco, lawmakers will hear from speakers on a range of topics, all aimed at eliminating the barriers and challenges for working women in California.

Investigation Looks Into California's Biggest Water Guzzlers
Earlier this year, Gov. Jerry Brown ordered the state's first mandatory water restrictions. Californians have had to cut their water use by an average of 25 percent, and we've done better than that for three straight months. But not everyone is on the conservation bandwagon. Host Queena Kim discussed it with Lance Williams, who investigated the water hogs for "Reveal," a radio show produced by The Center for Investigative Reporting.
