It's A's Over Giants, and the Fans React

Oakland A's fans invaded The Embarcadero on Thursday, as the A's thumped the Giants 6-1 in the final game of the Bay Bridge Series. With the win, the A's added to their MLB-best record, while the Giants fell to second place in the NL West. On the street outside AT&T Park and on the Port Walk along McCovey Cove, fans of each team took potshots at the other and put the game in perspective.

What can fans take away from the first half of the baseball season for both Bay Area teams? And is it premature to think about an Oakland-San Francisco World Series, like in '89? On Friday, KQED's Mina Kim talked with Mark Purdy, sports columnist for the San Jose Mercury News:
