Program Looks to Bring Play Back to the Classroom

You probably remember kindergarten as a time of finger painting, dress-up and story time. But when UCLA researchers asked today's kindergarten teachers how much time they allot to play in the school day, almost 80 percent said less that 30 minutes a day. Some said there was no time for play at all.
