Sixty volunteers showed up at McLaren Park on the southeast side of San Francisco Saturday, May 11, to catalog plant and animal species found there. Using iNaturalist’s mobile app, the group canvassed the 300-acre park in three hours, taking smartphone pictures that were tagged with map coordinates.
