But in California, where the state's $2.3 billion strawberry industry has come to rely on the chemical methyl bromide, a new report by the state's Department of Pesticide Regulation suggests strawberry growers will be using it for years to come.

California Rural Legal Assistance, a legal aid organization that serves California's rural poor, is getting ready to argue before a federal appeals court in Washington D.C. that it shouldn't have to hand over records on people who sought help from them.
