San Bernardino Sheriff's Detective Laid to Rest
Hundreds of law enforcement officers and thousands of people from around Southern California packed the San Manuel Amphitheater on Thursday to pay tribute to San Bernardino County Sheriff's Detective Jeremiah MacKay. He was gunned down in the standoff that finished Christopher Dorner almost two weeks ago. MacKay was remembered for his courage, his humor and his skill as a bagpiper. County Sheriff John McMahon said every law enforcement officer in California owes MacKay's family a debt of gratitude.

Poll director Mark DiCamillo says the high level of support across all political, racial and ethnic groups reflects a change in the debate since President Barack Obama's re-election.

Streetlights Likely To Go Dark in Central Valley Community
