Murder Trial of 12-Year-Old Begins
Opening statements begin Tuesday in the juvenile trial of a Riverside boy accused of killing his neo-Nazi father. Joseph Hall was 10 years old when he allegedly shot his father, who was asleep on the couch. Now 12, Joseph Hall is one of the youngest people ever tried for murder.

Election 2012: California's Mormons Not United on Romney
Four years ago, Mormon congregations helped get out the vote for Proposition 8, the statewide ban on same-sex marriage. This year, the Mormon church is officially neutral on the presidential election, even though Republican candidate Mitt Romney is an active member of the faith.
