With all the budget cuts and tuition hikes public universities face, it seems like the wrong time to give campus presidents a big raise. But earlier this week, the CSU board did exactly that. Does the job of running a state university merit a salary in excess of $300,000? We ask one of the people whose job it is to recruit those leaders.
