Update 10:07 p.m: All lanes of the Bay Bridge have been reopened, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission reports. "Motorists are advised to continue to expect delays until traffic can clear the area."

(Bay City News) Sporadic lane closures on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge  could last until 10:30 a.m. today as officers investigate a shooting incident  there, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP first responded to the incident on the lower deck of the Bay  Bridge at around 2 a.m. and closed all lanes headed to Oakland for about 15  minutes.

Three lanes were opened for several hours after that, but were  closed again briefly around 4:30 a.m. and CHP has been sporadically opening  and closing lanes since then.

San Francisco police recently took over the investigation,  according to CHP. The bridge may not fully reopen until 10:30 a.m.
