An estimated 5,000 firefighters from around the country flocked to St. Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco on Friday to pay tribute to Lt. Vincent Perez and firefighter/paramedic Anthony Valerio, who died from injuries sustained in a Diamond Heights house fire on June 2nd. The deaths represented the first time a San Francisco firefighter had been killed in the line of duty since 2003, the first from an actual fire since 1995, and the first multiple deaths from a single blaze since 1946.

KGO TV, which broadcast the funeral live, has put up raw video of the entire event. Here’s Mayor Ed Lee’s tribute, followed by links to remarks by family members and other video.
