On Friday night, KQED Public Television aired "On Shaky Ground," the broadcast component of California Watch's investigation into the failure of state regulators to enforce seismic safety standards in schools.

The investigation found that thousands of school buildings in California face seismic issues in contravention of state law, and may not be safe in the event of an earthquake.
