Two days ago budget negotiations collapsed, and Governor Jerry Brown took to the web to give the public the bad news:

"The governor never asked for my assistance," Dutton says at a press conference. "He was busy trying to work with individual members. I assume they were working on some kind of a pick-off type program where they were going to try to do their normal 'let's just try to find a couple Republicans to go up on taxes and that was the end of it.'

Maybe for the next round they can negotiate via webcam...
