Video: A Gray Whale in Tomales Bay

Here's something you'll definitely want to see. As reported in the Marin Independent Journal today, a gray whale, en route to Baja from Alaska, has made a little pit stop in Tomales Bay.

A few weeks ago, someone went out in a kayak and took this video. (Note: Don't try this at home. According to the MIJ, the NOAA's Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary is "advising people to steer clear of the whale. People should watch for the gray whale's blow, which looks like a puff of smoke about 10 to 15 feet high, and not approach within 300 feet."
