In good news for underwear lovers everywhere, Aubrey Huff will be back with the Giants.

Fox Sports says the deal is close to $22 million.

Just for old time’s sake, here is a very special video report from the Wall Street Journal on Huff’s now-famous red thong, which he says he wore for good luck from the end of the season through the World Series.

Giants fans will also no doubt debate what Huff’s signing means for top-notch prospect Brandon Belt, another first baseman, who tore it up in A and AA last year.
