California Continues to Issue IOUs
The budget Governor Schwarzenegger signed this week solves the state's multi-billion dollar deficit, at least for now. Officials also hoped the budget would end the state's need to issue IOUs. But the 'Day of the IOU' is not quite over.

Services for Murdered Border Patrol Agent to be Held Today
A funeral is being held today in El Centro, California to mourn Border Patrol Agent Robert Rosas who was killed in the line of duty last week. Authorities on both sides of the border are investigating the murder. The U.S. government has offered a reward of $100,000 for information leading to the capture and conviction of Rosas' killer or killers.
