Here's a somewhat confrontational interview Britain's Jon Snow did with Jimmy Wales today, a few days before the online encyclopedia's 10th anniversary. Snow hits Wales several times with accusations about the site's inaccuracy, confronting him with Snow's own entry, which he says contained an erroneous assertion that he liked conifers.

I'll say this for the Wiki gang: They pay attention. Here's what Snow's page says now, under Personal Life:

"Snow stated in an interview with Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia, that he does not like conifers, and fears the role that Wikipedia may play in stating erroneously that public figures may be fond of them."

Wikipedia is headquartered in San Francisco, under the auspices of the Wikimedia Corporation (a fact I discovered on Wikipedia).
