A Good Place to be on Earth Day

The Bay Area has a lot to be thankful for (and protect) right here in our own backyard. Happy Earth Day!

I've done plenty of cartoons about environmental destruction and the climate problems we face.

Once in a while it's important to look around, smile and remember what an incredible environment we have all around us.

It's amazing and we love it. That's why we need to protect it. (Not to mention saving our own skins.)

In addition to acknowledging the pessimistic side, my apologies to the less traditionally awe-inspiring species that were not included in this cartoon, even though their contribution to our Bay Area environment is tremendous.

I'm talking to you, krill.
