PG&E appeared to shift blame for the deadly Tubbs Fire onto a handyman who performed unlicensed electrical work eight months before the blaze.

All eyes have been on the utility after Cal Fire found that PG&E equipment was involved in starting 18 of the Northern California wildfires that ignited on Oct. 8, 2017.

Cal Fire has not yet completed its investigation into the cause of the Tubbs Fire, which killed 22 people and destroyed over 5,000 homes.
