Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee released a controversial memo alleging misconduct by the FBI and the Justice Department in the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. In response, Democrats want to push for a vote on Monday to release their rebuttal, also in the form of a memo. We talk to Rep. Meet UndocuBlack’s Denea Joseph
On Tuesday night, as President Trump delivered his first State of the Union address, a young black “Dreamer” listened as the guest of California Sen. Kamala Harris. Her name is Denea Joseph, and she’s the communications director for UndocuBlack, a group that represents undocumented black immigrants. A UCLA alumna, Joseph came to the U.S. from Belize when she was 7 years old and is one of the 220,000 Californians who have been protected by DACA.
