For those who are dexterous enough to be able to type comprehensible notes on their smart-phones, Gizmodo has put together the best apps for note-taking.

Some of these do a lot more than just provide a platform for typing: you can take pictures, record audio, upload files, and keep notes and sound recordings synchronized with text so you can completely recreate the lecture experience. Amazing!

  • Most of theses apps “take notes” really well – but reviewing and reorganizing notes are important parts of the note-taking process too. We’ve found most of these apps handle that poorly. Navigation is cumbersome b/w notes and some notes take forever to load!
